Yesterday’s task list:
Wash, dry and put away the last load of Julian’s clothes;
Pick out a cemetery plot for Julian;
Try not to blame everything on ourselves;
Poor through a lifetime of photos for a slideshow;
Meet with the funeral home and pick out a coffin and finalize a package.
Todays task list:
Pick out what Julian should wear.
Make Julian’s bed and clean his room.
Put off writing a eulogy another day.
Send the perfect photo to funeral home for obituary.
Try not to blame everything on ourselves.

But because everyday for years on the way to school, the boys and I would say:
“Happiness begins with gratitude,” and though I cant imagine ever being truly happy again, I’m thank for:
* Hundreds of messages and kind words from friends, family and strangers;
* so many meals from people who love us. We will not be hungry for a long time;
* people filling in the gaps in every area of life;
We will never stop needing your prayers and thankful that you’ll always have them for us.
Believing that God is good no matter what and trying with all our might to say, The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Love you all.
